Acquired through architectural salvage, the texture of these pieces varies considerably from beam to beam. Typically, you can expect to see a rough-hewn finish, sometimes there will be nail and/or worm holes, tool marks and an irregular grain. This piece has a "through-and-through" notch and hole, as pictured in the listing photos. Please review the images carefully to fully appreciate the condition of this item.
