1970s Singer Sewing Machine Model 717 w/ Manual, Foot Pedal, Vintage Sewing

We are offering a Singer sewing machine model 717 from the 1970s.
It will come with the foot control and manual.
We plugged it in and it runs and light comes on. We do not have fabric and thread to really test it. We believe the machine does need to be cleaned and serviced. We did note that the presser foot seems to be up and moving the handle in the back did not make it lower. The cord to the foot control is taped so it may have been mended at some time.
You will get the one bobbin that is in the machine.
Ser # AT700276. There are some letters scratched into the surface as shown in the photos.
Machine measures approximately 16 1/2" wide, 14" tall, and 7" deep.
