Heavy Industrial Blacksmith T-Stake Anvil on Welded Steel Stand Metal Forming Tool

This very sturdy industrial T-Stake Anvil measures approximately 43" wide, 29" tall and 12" deep.

This is a general metal-shaping T-stake anvil used for forming, bending, and straightening hot or cold steel. The long T-bar working surface features a tapered rounded end for forming curves and a flatter squared end for straightening and crisp bends. The stake sits in a substantial welded steel base, giving it excellent stability and mass for hammer work.  The T-Stake can be removed from the base.

This is not a farrier anvil and does not have pritchel or hardy holes. It is a general fabrication and ornamental iron forming stake.

Likely mid-20th century shop-made construction. Heavy plate steel base with solid vertical support. Strong industrial look with original surface patina and honest shop wear.

Shows surface rust and age consistent with shop use. No visible cracks or structural damage. Solid and ready for use.
