Dazey Butter Churn, Vintage No. 8 Quart Red Football Tulip Glass Wood Paddle

Vintage Dazey hand-crank butter churn featuring the distinctive red football-shaped metal gear housing, clear tulip-style glass jar, and wooden paddles. A wonderful piece of antique kitchen equipment that would make a great addition to a farmhouse kitchen, country décor collection, or vintage dairy display. The churn measures approximately 14" tall and 9" wide overall. The clear glass jar features embossed lettering on the bottom reading "Dazey Churn," "Pat. App. For," "No. 8," and "St. Louis, MO." The metal lid has a hand crank with a wooden handle, and the original-style wooden paddles are present inside the jar. This churn is in vintage condition with significant surface rust and oxidation on all metal components, including the lid, crank, and gear housing. The red housing shows paint wear and discoloration consistent with age and use. The glass appears to be in good condition with no obvious cracks or chips visible. The crank and paddle mechanism seem to be in good working order, although the churn has not been tested for actual butter making. Please review all photographs carefully, as they are considered part of the description and show the item's overall condition.
