Antique Enterprise 2 Quart Lard Press and Sausage Stuffer in cast iron with the April 10, 1883 patent date on the arch. This item measures 7 1/2"x7 1/2" at the feet. The basin is 6 1/4" in diameter and approximately 19" tall at its highest point. This is a complete multipurpose press with the original perforated strainer basket, strainer plate, large and small press plates, bottom ring, and stuffing nozzle. The geared crank turns smoothly and the press plate raises and lowers as it should. One plate is stuck in the bottom. Normal age wear and patina consistent with use. A solid early kitchen tool for rendering lard, pressing fruit, or stuffing sausage.
