Beautiful antique Globe-Wernicke oak barrister bookcase, complete with five original stacking sections plus the base and top. This is a high-quality Grade 199 set featuring the desirable D-12¼ deep sections, ideal for larger books, ledgers, and display pieces. Each section has its original lift-and-slide glass door with the small brass knob and operates smoothly. The oak has a rich, warm finish with attractive grain throughout. The interior label shows the classic gold and black Globe-Wernicke design used around 1910–1920, identifying this section as Size D-12¼ and Grade 199. 

A timeless piece of functional antique furniture that works in libraries, offices, shops, and home interiors. Shows expected age and character but presents beautifully.  Please see in the photos, one of the doors is missing its door pull.
