Vintage Step Back General Store Cabinet Glass Doors Mercantile Pantry Backbar Cupboard
This unique step back cabinet measures approximately 87" wide, 77" tall and 17" deep.
This substantial mercantile cupboard features three glass doors across the upper section with adjustable interior shelving. The interior is lined in original beadboard and painted a light cream color, creating a classic country store or farmhouse pantry look. The lower section includes six glass panel doors providing additional enclosed storage and display space. The base interior is also beadboard-lined and painted to match the top. The cabinet retains period hinges and latches. The exterior is finished in a deep brown stain with visible age-appropriate wear including scuffs, finish loss, edge wear, and surface marks consistent with long-term commercial or kitchen use. The top work surface shows heavy wear from years of service, adding to its authentic character.
Antique condition with wear consistent with age and use. Finish loss, scuffs, paint wear, and surface marks are present. Glass appears intact. Doors open and close but may benefit from minor adjustment or in some instances new latches. Please review photos carefully as they are part of the description.
