This unique Toledo floor scale measures approximately 25" wide, 53 1/4" tall and 29" deep.
Authentic antique Toledo "No Springs - Honest Weight" floor scale featuring the iconic large round dial and heavy cast iron construction. This impressive industrial scale was once used in grocery stores, produce markets, warehouses, and general stores.
The scale retains its original dial face, balance mechanism, sliding weight bars, and platform. The exposed internal mechanism visible through the dial window is a particularly attractive feature and showcases the engineering that made Toledo scales famous.
This piece displays decades of honest use with a wonderful aged patina, surface rust, wear, scratches, and discoloration consistent with age and use. It has not been restored, preserving its authentic industrial character but it does tell weight.
