Vintage Hy Gee Prophylactic, No. 35 Single Tubes, Original Box, Condoms

This is an original No. 35 HY GEE prophylactic box, containing 3 single tubes with sacks, as labeled. The box measures approximately 3 1/4" wide, 3" tall, and 1/2" deep. Marked The Hy-Gee Co., Kansas City, Missouri. Text on the box states the tubes were single-use and intended as a preventative for gonorrhea and syphilis, reflecting the period medical practices of the time. The box shows age-related wear consistent with storage. It appears that at least one of the waxed paper covers has been opened. Contents are sold as found, with no guarantees.
