Vintage Pfaff 138-6 Industrial Zig Zag Sewing Machine w/Table, Clutch Motor

This wonderful leather sewing machine on a treadle base as shown in the photos measures approximately 48" wide, 42" tall and 22" deep.  The sewing machine by itself measures approximately 19" wide, 12" tall and 7" deep.

The machine retains its original industrial setup, including the wood-top table, cast iron stand, foot pedal assembly and motor. The model plate is marked Pfaff 138-6. The machine shows honest wear from decades of use, including paint loss, scratches, dust, surface rust, and age-related wear to the table and base.

 Operational condition is unknown and the machine has not been tested.  Selling as found.  When plugged in, the motor seemed to work properly.  It spun smoothly and was very quiet.The motor, wiring, and sewing functions have not been evaluated. The table is solid and the machine appears complete, but buyers should expect to clean, service, and inspect the unit before use.
